Ski Association Teams With Oaktree Systems for DM

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association chose Oaktree Systems to provide fundraising database, premium fulfillment and direct marketing services, the Gateway Industries subsidiary said yesterday.

The association is the national governing body recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee to develop and prepare U.S. athletes for national and international competition.

Oaktree Systems, Calverton, NY, is a service bureau that helps companies, nonprofits and member organizations gather, integrate and access customer data including orders, donations, subscriptions, renewals, payments, shipments, inventory and financial reports.

As part of a three-year deal, the database and DM company will work with the association's agency, Warfield and Walsh, to increase membership and donations through strategic consulting, database development and analytics.

"We are extremely pleased to have Oaktree as a partner," said Janine Alfano, senior director of development for the association. "They have demonstrated an outstanding product and great service. We look forward to working with them as we approach the 2006 Olympic Winter Games -- and beyond."
