Business-to-business cataloger SiteStuff has selected Mercado Software's bSMART solution for e-commerce search and merchandising.

Austin, TX-based SiteStuff markets a variety of products to the commercial real estate industry and has a catalog of 150,000 items, including janitorial, lighting, electrical, tool and office products. The company also offers a contract management solution for service contracts.

By using bSMART from Mercado, SiteStuff hopes to improve conversion rates and increase order sizes with merchandising technologies that will display associated products and peripherals in response to a search query or provide alternative items.

In addition, Pleasanton, CA-based Mercado's UniClass technology will be able to standardize the thousands of unique product descriptions used by SiteStuff's many suppliers. This will let customers easily find the appropriate product or service.
