Sitel Inks Deal to Provide Call Center Services for Purolator
Sitel Corp. yesterday said it sealed a two-year agreement to provide inbound and outbound call center services for Purolator Courier Ltd., the Canadian overnight delivery company. The contract calls for Sitel, Baltimore, to conduct business-to-business customer acquisition and customer care initiatives for Purolator throughout Canada in both English and French.The contract follows a year in which Sitel performed call center work -- primarily outbound telemarketing -- on a project basis for Purolator, which is based in Mississauga, Ontario. Sitel will fulfill the contract from its 170-seat Toronto call center, where Sitel has created a dedicated area to handle the Purolator business, according to a Sitel spokesman.
