Site Will Pay Users for Viewing Ads
GoThruUs.com Inc., Montreal, plans to go live with a site that displays full-page ads and pays viewers a penny for any ads they click. The site, which has yet to land any advertisers, also will pay members for visitors they refer to the site.Jasmine Lim, director of sales and marketing at GoThruUs.com, predicted success for her company because its ads are 10 times the size of banner ads. She said the Web site was negotiating with its first five advertising prospects last week.
