Silkies Maker to Use Donnelley, Yesmail Technology

Hosiery direct marketer HCI Direct Inc. will use technology from two infoUSA Inc. subsidiaries to build and host its new marketing database.

The maker of the Silkies hoses will rely on infoUSA-owned Donnelley Marketing's MarketZone Platinum hosted platform that integrates Donnelley's consumer marketing data, file hygiene and analytical services. The database will also use e-mail technology from Donnelley sibling Yesmail.

"Our company goal for revenue and profit growth is predicated on creating and offering various products to our current and former customers," HCI president Pat Corpora said in a statement. "In order to do this successfully, we need a unified marketing database, with enhanced purchase and demographic data."

The MarketZone Platinum platform will host all information related to media, channels, products, segmentation, analysis and customer behavior for HCI's offline and online programs.
