Service Assists Transfer of Client Data

StatementOne, a financial data consolidation and performance reporting firm, introduced a Web-based platform yesterday designed to let clients securely pass client, account and holding information from the StatementOne database to other applications.

Initial partners include investment research firm Morningstar Inc.; EISI, developer of financial planning software NaviPlan; and Pacific Select Distributors Inc., underwriter and distributor of Pacific Life's variable products and Pacific Funds' mutual funds.

"Getting consolidated data from StatementOne will automate the data input function, which dramatically reduces the time it takes to create a financial plan and the chance of data entry errors," said Denis Martineau, senior vice president of sales and marketing at NaviPlan.
