Bed retailer Select Comfort, a bed retailer and creator of the Sleep Number bed, has selected Siebel Business Analytics to gain insight into its sales interactions, Siebel said yesterday. Select Comfort hopes to improve its business performance by providing employees throughout the organization --- such as those in finance, marketing and sales--with comprehensive, actionable, real-time information.


In the first deployment phase, Siebel Business Analytics will enable Select Comfort's corporate users and in-store personnel to access data from a number of sources and gain a better view of how its 400 stores nationwide are performing against company metrics. Through interactive dashboards and alerts, employees will be able to more easily access information such as the performance of specific stores, products and employees.
