Segway Standardizes on Salesforce.com Enterprise Edition

Segway LLC, creator of the Segway Human Transporter, selected Salesforce.com's Enterprise Edition customer relationship management software to manage its customer data across multiple divisions, San Francisco-based Salesforce.com said last week.

Segway, Manchester, NH, sought a formalized system to manage sales and customer information. Sales data were scattered across multiple spreadsheets, making it difficult to access and share information. The company wanted more control of the sales process and needed a comprehensive CRM system that could integrate its sales, customer support and financial data.

With the Enterprise Edition, Segway expects to access a real-time view of customers and prospects and so the sales and management team will be able to compile and share customer information and serve customers more effectively.
