Geo-intelligence solutions developer and marketer Sedona GeoServices, Limerick, PA, has announced the availability of Sedona SpatialVision 1.1 business intelligence software. This new version supports Sun Microsystems' new Java2 platform.


Sedona said the tool enables enterprises to visualize corporate data in relation to familiar maps. Other new enhancements include custom thematic display; improved labeling functionality; a new universal installer providing unique options for organizing program locations; an intuitive launch applet, which will walk first-time users through a multimedia presentation, various installation options and import release information; and a new online help system that uses HTML documents. The system can be integrated with Oracle 8I Spatial and can be run locally, remotely or through a Web browser.
