Sears Relaunches Expanded E-Commerce Site

Sears, Roebuck and Co. said yesterday it has expanded its Web site, adding five new product categories: home electronics, computers and office equipment, small appliances and cookware, baby products through an online version of its BabyMe guide and school uniforms.


Other features of the redesigned sight include a common shopping cart, common navigation and enhanced search capabilities, including brand searches across categories. Products can be purchased with instant credit for online buyers and can be returned at local full-line Sears stores.


Sears, Hoffman Estates, IL, also expanded its adviser customer service section to include product advisers for its home electronics, computer/office and BabyMe areas.
