Sears Debuts Room for Kids Online

Sears, Roebuck & Co. yesterday launched the online version of its Room for Kids catalog.


The Web site, www.searsroomforkids.com, comes two years after the launch of the niche catalog. Online visitors will be able to send e-mails with links to pictures of rooms. Items will be available through the catalog and Web site only and not in Sears department stores.


Like the catalog, the Web site features entire room groupings in one- or two-page photo layouts for visitors to see how items look together before they make their purchases, said Nicole Westenberger, Sears catalog business manager.
