SearchInform now enables search of information infrastructure

SearchInform Technologies Inc. on Jan. 29 added SearchInform SDK to its suite of offerings, providing external developers with the ability to search any information infrastructure.

It integrates into custom applications written in any programming language and performs search through any data source due to its .com technology.

SearchInform SDK is designed to handle large volumes of data. It indexes with the support of a large number of file formats and databases at a speed ranging from 15 to 30 gigabytes per hour.

SearchInform SDK preserves all the features and functionality of the company's flagship search engine, performing full-text search in the document contents. It also supports any non-standard data sources, proprietary data and custom document systems.

In addition, the service allows for phrase search taking into account stemming and thesaurus data.

Los Angeles-based SearchInform Technologies has nearly 12 years of experience in information technology including information searching, storing and processing.
