A new campaign and positioning will focus on the balance of life that Scripps has with its employees. The marketing aims to distinguish Scripps from other healthcare providers. This is critical in a market short on registered nurses, pharmacists and radiology technicians.
A nonprofit, Scripps has five acute-care hospitals, 2,600 affiliated physicians, an ambulatory-care network and home healthcare and associated support services. Operating in San Diego County, Scripps has nearly 10,000 employees. It also cares for patients at 11 Scripps Clinic locations in the county.
