Scopus, Exchange Applications Join Forces

Scopus Technology Inc., Emeryville, CA, a provider of front-office software solutions, has formed a partnership with campaign management software provider Exchange Applications, Boston, to develop and market a customer relationship management solution.

Scopus' front-office applications, Finance Central, Telecom Central and SalesTEAM, will be integrated with Exchange Applications' campaign management system, ValEX.

According to Scopus, the product will streamline acquiring, servicing and maintaining customers. Campaign and segmentation information will be delivered from ValEX to Scopus scripting and workflow applications, enabling sales and marketing agents to speed up the response to customer's needs.

The companies will begin product integration in the first half of 1998.

"We see campaign management software as the engine that can communicate customer behavior and history across a range of customer touch-point channels, including customer service and sales," said Andrew Frawley, Exchange Applications' president and CEO.
