Science Publisher Picks Group 1 For Database Work

Group 1 Software licensed its Universal Coder software to Springer-Verlag New York LLC to enhance the firm's data quality, the Lanham, MD, company said yesterday.


Springer-Verlag New York is a division of Springer Science+Business Media, one of the world's leading scientific publishers.


Universal Coder incorporates Group 1's address validation, correction and standardization technologies for 220 countries and dependencies. It is built on Group 1's LESLIE service-oriented architecture, which lets organizations integrate its data quality services seamlessly across the enterprise.
