Schoolpop, EBay Plan Fundraising Pilot
Schoolpop, Menlo Park, CA, this month announced a pilot program to offer fundraising solutions for schools through eBay's auction Web site.Visitors of the online fundraiser will be able to raise money for their favorite school each time they click to go to eBay.com from the Schoolpop.com site.
The two also announced they would pilot a fundraising program that will enable schools registered with Schoolpop to develop their own online auction Web pages and host auctions on eBay.
Schoolpop also will help schools market the program to parents, teachers, family and friends to encourage their participation.
