SAS is Part of Google's New Search Appliance

SAS will be part of Google's OneBox for Enterprise, a software product that allows business users to access business information from companies. Users of Google's OneBox for Enterprise will be able to access real-time information from the SAS Enterprise Intelligence Platform.


OneBox for Enterprise is a new software program that works with Google's new Search Appliance, a $30,000 computer server that scours company databases.


The software will allow users to search for information such as sales leads and purchase order.


Several other companies will be part of the Google Search Appliance, including Oracle, Cisco and Salesforce.com.
