Salon.com, eVinyard Sign Convergence Deal

Salon.com, San Francisco, said today eVinyard agreed to a major sponsorship agreement. The pact calls for eVinyard to become the exclusive wine partner for Salon Travel & Food, one of 11 sites on the Web network, and the premier sponsor for Burt Wolf's weekly column of travel and culinary dispatches. Financial terms of the agreement were not released.


Under the agreement, eVinyards will also be a premier advertiser on a number of Salon.com's convergence initiatives, including "Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions," a PBS TV series. Portland, OR-based eVinyard will also co-sponsor a number of unspecified events on Salon's network.
