Salesforce.com Delivers Salesforce for Google AdWords

Business-software provider Salesforce.com Inc. on Aug. 22 unveiled a new service that allows its customers to create and manage Google Inc. search-engine marketing campaigns.

Salesforce for Google AdWords is based on technology acquired from Kieden Corp., a startup that quietly developed it using Salesforce's AppExchange platform. San Francisco, CA-based Salesfocre.com acquired Kieden this month. Terms were not disclosed.

Salesforce.com  said the tight integration delivered in Salesforce for Google AdWords provides visibility into the entire life-cycle of a campaign -- from creation and placement of ads, to tracking of results, management of opportunities, closing of deals and measurement of return on investment.
