Sales Force Focuses on TV/Net

24/7 Media, New York, an Internet media company, has formed an ad sales force that it claims is the first to focus exclusively on the convergence of TV and the Internet.


It delivers on the three-year partnership between 24/7 and NBC Interactive Neighborhood to offer local market multimedia advertising, announced in March. Nationwide account managers will operate out of local NBC stations as well as 24/7's regional offices.


It has promoted Bruce Mello to senior vice president of local market sales and recruited six new sales people who will report to him.
