Sagent, SAS Institute Forge Marketing Agreement

Sagent, Mountain View, CA, a provider of business intelligence solutions, yesterday announced an agreement in principle with SAS Institute, Cary, NC, to form a new strategic partnership.


The new agreement, once approved, will allow the two companies cross-licensing and reselling certain versions of each other's software products.


The agreement is expected to be completed within the next two weeks. SAS Institute is a data warehouse solution provider.


As part of the partnership, SAS is going to continue to focus on its premier global 500 customers while partnering with Sagent as it continues its own expansion into the mid-tier market place.
