Sabre, Motorola Team for Wireless Travel Service

Sabre Holdings Corp., a provider of technology, distribution and marketing services for the travel industry, and Motorola yesterday announced an agreement in which Sabre will provide travel and ticketing capabilities to Motorola's wireless Mobile Office Solution.


Sabre's wireless travel services will provide Mobile Office Solution customers with access to updated travel information through any Web-enabled wireless device. Business travelers will be able to receive alerts for flight delays, cancellations and gate changes. They will also be able to check weather conditions, book reservations for airlines, hotels and car rentals; and view or cancel existing travel reservations.


The addition of the Sabre service also will give Motorola customers access to Sabre travel agents and its system of more than 440 airlines, 50,000 hotels and 50 car rental companies.
