Royal Boosts Output With Xerox Press

Marketing and corporate communications printer Royal Impressions expects to quadruple its monthly output with the installation of a second Xerox DocuColor iGen3 press, Xerox said yesterday.

Royal Impressions, New York, decided to buy the additional press after witnessing a 15 percent rise in color printing revenue over the past 12 months of using its first DocuColor iGen3, according to Xerox. The second press will increase the firm's monthly output from 500,000 pages currently to 2 million.

Royal Impressions has used Xerox equipment for 12 years and also uses three Xerox DocuColor 2060 presses. About 75 percent of the company's volume involves variable-data printing.
