Rogue Wave Names Workhorse

Rogue Wave Software Inc., which focuses on the business-to-business arena, has named Workhorse Advertising, Boulder, CO, as its agency of record.

The account, of undisclosed spend, previously was handled by several agencies. With the Workhorse appointment, all advertising will be consolidated under one roof.

A 12-year-old firm in Boulder, Rogue Wave makes pre-built C++ and XML application development software for online businesses. It also offers consulting services through its offices in the United States, Asia and Europe.

Rogue Wave selected the newly formed Workhorse for its experience with tech clients. Workhorse's clients also include ViaWest Internet Services, Mshow.com and Aspen Skiing Co.

While the budget was not disclosed, Rogue Wave has tasked Workhorse with handling brand development and product and brand advertising. Media in consideration are direct mail, online, collateral, and exhibit and event design.
