Roger Dunn Takes Swing at Home Shopping on Brands Network

Roger Dunn Golf Shops will market its products on its own television series to run on the Brands Shopping Network, a planned 24-hour home shopping channel, the two companies said yesterday.


The series is to begin at an unspecified date later this year. The shows will feature entertainment and informational programs about golf and offer viewers the chance to buy items featured on the shows.


The partnership will give Roger Dunn a chance to expand beyond its retail markets and give its products national exposure, said John Phipps, marketing and advertising director for Roger Dunn Golf Shops.


Brands Shopping Network, Phoenix, plans to bring national retailers and brands to home shopping. The company expects to launch its channel in fourth-quarter 2002.
