Road Runner Hires RTC for Broadband Unit

Time Warner Cable's Road Runner hired RTC Relationship Marketing for Road Runner High Speed Online, its residential broadband Internet service unit.

The agency is responsible for multichannel acquisition and retention marketing programs. It will offer strategic planning, creative development and execution, analytics, production and fulfillment, and project management.

Road Runner, opened in 1996, claims its broadband online service is up to 50 times faster than a traditional dial-up service. The Herndon, VA, company also offers commercial Internet access through its Road Runner Business Class unit.

Road Runner joins an RTC client portfolio that includes Nasdaq, GlaxoSmithKline, FedEx, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Aventis, Bayer, Sony and Schering-Plough. Most of these accounts have tapped RTC for its customer relationship marketing skills.
