RMH Reports Quarterly Profit, Yearly Loss

RMH Teleservices posted a $321,000 profit during the three months that ended Sept. 30 but recorded a $7.7 million net loss for the fiscal year.

CEO John Fellows said he was pleased with RMH Teleservices' performance during the teleservices agency's fiscal fourth quarter. Inbound teleservices grew to $64 million, or 46 percent of the company's total revenues during the quarter, compared with $27 million, or 18 percent of the company's total revenues during the same period in 2000.

The company said it has had success diversifying its client base during fiscal 2001 despite the net loss of income on the year. Its newest segments, transportation/logistics and technology, both saw growth during the fiscal fourth quarter.

RMH Teleservices, Bryn Mawr, PA, is projecting revenues of $250 million to $275 million during the 2002 fiscal year. The company is transitioning from a primarily outbound telemarketing company to an inbound customer service provider, Fellows said.
