RKC Mail Acquires Coldwater Creek's Milepost Four Catalog

Specialty direct mail retailer Coldwater Creek, Sandpoint, ID, has announced the sale of its Milepost Four men's catalog to RKC Mail LLC, Cincinnati, a new men's wear merchandising company launched by co-founders Chuck Reynolds and Robby Yarbrough. The agreement was handled by Tucker Alexander, Princeton, NJ.


At press time, David Gunter, spokesman for Coldwater Creek, told DM News that the sale has already been finalized and would "allow the company to focus on its core capabilities and to proceed with its Internet expansion which we expect to be complete by Aug. 31 of this year." As a result of the sale, Coldwater Creek expects an increase of $835,000 or $.05 per share for the second fiscal quarter ending Aug. 31.


Coldwater Creek will continue to sell apparel, gifts, jewelry and home furnishings through its Coldwater Creek, Northcountry and Spirit of the West brands.
