Rimmer Bros chooses Ability Commerce for e-commerce

UK-based Rimmer Bros., a mail order provider of British automobile parts, has chosen Ability Commerce to implement its Ability SmartSite e-commerce software and outsourced Internet marketing services. Ability Commerce will design and implement a new e-commerce Web site for Rimmer Bros.

The new e-commerce store is scheduled to launch in January of 2009.

Additionally, Ability Commerce will provide outsourced Internet marketing services such as content management, ad management, shopping channel management, taxonomy research, affiliate marketing management, e-mail marketing management and other related online marketing activities.

The Ability SmartSite implementation, combined with outsourced e-commerce marketing services, will allow Rimmer Bros. to increase the number of orders taken via the Web, the company said.
