Return Path Offers E-Mail Change of Address Service to Ants.com Software Users

Return Path Inc. said yesterday that it has signed a deal to offer its e-mail change of address service to Ants.com customers.

The Santa Barbara-based Ants.com is a developer of software that keeps e-mail address books up to date.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Return Path said its change of address service will be available to users of Ants.com's Scout software, an automatic contact management service for businesses and consumers.

Under the Return Path alliance, Scout users will have the option of sharing their updated e-mail addresses with other businesses in the Return Path network with which they already have a relationship.

"Our alliance with Ants.com brings a fresh new source of e-mail address updates to our customers, while expanding the reach that Scout's change-of-address notification system already gives its users," said Matt Blumberg, Return Path's CEO.
