Retailers expect to hire more this holiday season

This Yahoo report indicates that retailers expect to hire more seasonal workers this holiday season than last. It's a sign that retailers expect a slightly better holiday as the recession appears to ease.

Hopefully, there are enough people employed in other sectors making money to buy all the extra products these workers will work to distribute throughout the country in the busiest commerce season of the year. New unemployment claims dropped this week, but unemployment continues to tickle 10% — it's currently at 9.8%.
