Restoration Hardware Revenue Rises 26%

Restoration Hardware Inc., Corte Madera, CA, which mailed the first issue of a redesigned catalog this month, announced yesterday that its net revenue for the second quarter ended July 31 rose 26 percent to $120.9 million versus the same period last year.


Comparable-store sales for the quarter increased 9.4 percent.


In its direct-to-consumer division, net revenue in the quarter was $28.6 million, up 103 percent.


For the six months ended July 31, net revenue totaled $219.8 million, up 24 percent versus the same period last year. Same-store sales rose 9.2 percent, and direct-to-consumer sales jumped 99 percent to $50.5 million.
