Response Media Announces E-Value Guide Plans

Response Media Products Inc. plans to mail more than 1 million of its e-Value Guide 2001 in the spring.

The company distributed the first guide to about 550,000 consumers beginning in October, said Joe Fitzgerald, director of eVguide at Response Media Products Inc., Atlanta. Roughly 1.2 million guides will go out in the second quarter this year.

The digest-size print directories contain listings of e-commerce companies looking to drive traffic to their Web sites. The directories are inserted in the outgoing packages of participating eVguide distribution partners.

Participants in the program share their customer bases and reach 100 percent online buyers, Fitzgerald said.

In addition, participants are listed at the eVguide Web site, www.evguide.com.

Several e-merchants have joined the eVguide program for this year, including BarnesandNoble.com, dSports.com, 1800Contacts.com, Outpost.com and Ourhouse.com.

Previous participants continuing this year include NextCard, Omahasteaks.com, Smarterkids.com and Wine.com.

Interested companies can contact Response Media for listing information and pricing.
