Renaissance Hotel Signs Up Group 1 DataDesigns System

Database marketing software provider Group 1, Lanham, MD, announced that Renaissance Chicago Hotel has installed Group 1's DataDesigns database marketing system.


With DataDesigns, the hotel will be able to capture and consolidate data from its property management system into a single marketing database. As a result, it will be able to develop and launch integrated marketing programs, including direct mail, product planning and promotion, along with advertising and media analysis.


According to the company, DataDesigns can handle an unlimited number of records without restricting record or file size. The system's access routines let users control when and how often their database is updated. Import routines can detect and correct data-input errors, consolidate duplicate files and append demographic information.


DataDesigns can be integrated with existing operating systems.
