Reisberg Named BTB Marketer of the Year

Jerry Reisberg, managing director of Leaps & Bounds LLC, was presented with the 2006 B-to-B Marketer of the Year award by the Direct Marketing Association yesterday at DMA's Direct Marketing to Business Conference in Champions Gate, FL.

Reisberg, who worked for D&B until February, led that company's entry into business-to-business list marketing during his tenure there by encouraging D&B to use its prolific business database of site names and demographics to serve mailers and direct marketers. Along the way, D&B introduced many new innovations such as expanding the standard US Government 4-digit SIC to a 8-digit coding system.

Mr. Reisberg spent several years as the programming director for Direct Marketing Days in New York and served as member of the Board of Directors for POSTCOM where he worked to keep postal rates manageable for business mailers. He has also traveled extensively to speak at DMA events and local direct marketing clubs on both coasts. He will continue his contributions to the industry by serving on the Board of the DMA's Business-to-Business Council and the Direct Marketing Club of New York.
