Redi-Mail Buys Kirk-Rudy Printing System

Redi-Mail Direct Marketing signed a contract to buy a specially designed and manufactured Rite-Jet printing system from Kirk-Rudy Inc., the company said this week.


The Rite-Jet unit has multiple dryers, 600-by-600 DPI resolution, 13 print colors and all Windows TruType font capability, said Redi-Mail, Fairfield, NJ. Redi-Mail plans to upgrade the unit and use it to handle various page sizes while imaging single- and double-sided pieces.


The Rite-Jet system provides quality high-speed imaging, Redi-Mail said. It will let Redi-Mail address client needs, particular for large self-mailers.


Redi-Mail is part of the Redi-Direct Marketing Inc. family of companies. It operates data management and production facilities and offers complete mail and fulfillment services.
