Recognition Systems, Firstlogic Announce Partnership

Recognition Systems, Chicago, a marketing automation software vendor, and Firstlogic, La Crosse, WI, a data quality software vendor, have entered into a joint sales and marketing agreement.

Under terms of the agreement, which was announced July 17, the companies will jointly market their respective software solutions to help customers better manage marketing campaigns across the enterprise, and enhance critical customer data for personalized, one-to-one marketing strategies.

Recognition Systems' flagship product, Protagona, provides enterprise marketing capabilities for campaign management. It also enhances customer relationship management efforts by delivering optimal messages and offerings at each customer touch point. Firstlogic is the developer of the i.d.Centric data-quality suite, which cleanses, matches and consolidates data, providing high-quality customer information for marketing and business intelligence.

Used together, these technologies enable organizations to target their marketing efforts more effectively, earn a better return on their marketing investment and achieve a clearer understanding of customer response.

"To maximize their competitive advantage, organizations look for best-of-breed technology," said Art Petty, vice president of marketing at Firstlogic. "Under this agreement, we are able to bring each company's industry expertise and core competencies to the table, so our customers can better manage their customers' experiences."

The announcement was made at Firstlogic's Innovations 2000 Users' Conference and Executive Summit in San Diego.
