Rapp names Heapps CMO

Direct agency Rapp has named former chief creative officer Rachael Heapps CMO for the US, according to the company. She will focus on new business as well as internal development.

Heapps will work with Rapp global CEO Bob Horvath as well as chief creative officer Marty Cooke, named to the role last year.

Rapp counts Pfizer, AMC and Time Warner among its client base.

The agency's move to name a CMO follows similar moves made by Draftfcb, which named Debra Coughlin CMO in March, and TBWA Toronto, which named Julia Foster CMO in June.
