In other news, Qualitative Marketing Software formed a Web-based alliance with ESRI, a provider of geographic information system software. Through the partnership ESRI will be including an Internet link to QMSoft's Centrus Prospector within its Arc View Business Analyst application.
The link is designed to provide analysts with a total solution for site research and market research. The Centrus Prospector will enhance the capabilities of Arc View Business Analyst by providing ESRI users with improved information mining tools, more up-to-date, accurate customer data and quick access to the specific names needed to execute their direct marketing programs.
QMS has also announced Centrus Customer Interaction Objects, a collection of software components that will give companies the ability to deliver real-time data quality and targeted marketing on the Internet. It said application developers can now integrate QMSoft's data quality, enhancement, record matching and spatial analysis libraries as well as demographic data content from leading third-party suppliers, creating extensive real-time solutions for intelligently managing client interactions in call centers, on e-commerce Web sites and at point-of-sale systems.
