Quadstone, MBS Form Partnership

NEW ORLEANS -- Predictive marketing technology firm Quadstone will combine its business software with database service provider MBS' Klondike marketing automation system, the two companies said today at the NCDM Winter 2001 conference.

Quadstone's technology will let MBS clients accelerate campaign design and work rapidly in a visual environment, an MBS executive said. MBS is taking the combined system out to 20 clients and hopes to have three or four of the systems installed by the first quarter of 2002.

The partnership is aimed at large, specialized retailers. Central Islip, NY-based MBS' clients include Tiffany & Co.

Boston-based Quadstone's technology uses a graphic-user interface and point-and-click technology. MBS picked Quadstone in part because it wanted to give its clients the ability to work rapidly with a graphics-oriented toolset, the company said.
