Taco Bell had the VMA “Hook–Up.”

A sweepstakes gave fans a chance to win tickets to the VMAs and to a Taco Bell–sponsored preshow event.

A mobile site featured performance footage, interviews, an inside look at the VMA lineup and more.

QR codes on Taco Bell packaging unlocked exclusive MTV content highlighting Taco Bell “Feed the Beat” artists, including Chiddy Bang.

This campaign was Taco Bell’s first foray into using QR codes in its marketing.
