Puget Sound Energy Rolls Out CIS System

Connext, Seattle, announced earlier this month that its ConsumerLinx customer information system was successfully implemented by Puget Sound Energy, an electricity and natural gas services provider based in Bainbridge Island, WA.


ConsumerLinx provides product billing and customer care services to companies' residential, commercial and industrial customers.


By the end of the year, PSE's 910,000 electric customers will be able to schedule payments and access their accounts via the Internet, e-mail, fax or telephone. In addition, the utility plans to convert its 575,000 natural gas accounts to the new system later this year.
