Publisher Releases Initial E-Book Offerings

Books by Stephen King, Jimmy Carter and Jesse Ventura will be among the initial offerings of Simon & Schuster's first full season of original e-books.


The company yesterday unveiled its e-book lineup, which will be available this fall. The list features titles from every Simon & Schuster book-publishing division and will be complemented with additional, simultaneous electronic publications, as well as continually updated published books.


The initial offering includes "Blair Witch: Graveyard Shift"; Stephen King's "On Writing"; Stephen Ambrose's "Nothing Like It in the World"; Ann Beattie's "Perfect Recall"; Jimmy Carter's "An Hour Before Daylight"; and Jesse Ventura's "Do I Stand Alone."
