Publicis Seattle has named Mark Cadman CEO, effective mid-June. Cadman previously served as CEO of Euro RSCG London.

The agency picked Cadman for the role because of his strong creative background, said Susan Gianinno, chairman and CEO of Publicis USA. Publicis Seattle is also the home office of Bob Moore, chief creative officer of Publicis USA.

“Seattle is creatively driven and very entrepreneurial,” she said. “It's also the fastest moving toward integration of digital, with 25% to 30% of revenue coming from digital. We wanted a proven leader, someone who had already run a midsize creative agency known for setting standards.”

Cadman's main responsibility will be to win new business, Gianinno said. He will replace Randy Browning, who left the agency in March. Cadman will report to Gianinno.

Publicis Seattle's main verticals are telecommunications and automotive, with T-Mobile and Chevrolet as its major clients in those spaces, said Gianinno. The office also handles some work for HP's global account, she said.
