Provident to Sell Insurance via InsureRate
Provident Financial Group Inc., Cincinnati, said this week its Provident Bank subsidiary had begun offering online insurance products through InsureRate, which offers term life, homeowners and automobile policies online.The bank said the endeavor marks its first venture into selling insurance online. Provident also said it would broaden its product lineup in conjunction with the move to online selling.
InsureRate is a service of Atlanta-based HomeCom Communications Inc., an application service provider specializing in the financial services market. Its other products include Personal Internet Banker, Harvey One-to-One Marketing and Nextra.
