Protocol Merges Dickinson Direct, MC Direct

Protocol, a direct marketing and customer relationship management firm, has merged its Dickinson Direct and MC Direct agencies into a new marketing services division.

Both agencies lose their identities in this in-house merger.

The division will handle Protocol's direct marketing services. Raymond Ellis, formerly CEO and owner of San Diego-based MC Direct, will be president. William Nethercote, previously operations manager at MC Direct, will be vice president of operations.

Protocol, Danvers, MA, has offices in the United States and Canada, last year acquired MC Direct and Dickinson Direct, Boston.
