The new service lets consumers obtain a quote, compare auto insurance rates with up to three other insurance providers, report claims and make policy changes via Sprint PCS wireless Web-enabled phones.

Consumers can access Progressive.com in the "Finance" folder on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web portal.

The 64-year-old insurance provider, based in Mayfield Village, OH, sells its products via a toll-free phone number, online and through more than 30,000 independent agencies across the United States.
