Software provider Progress today released a new version of Progress Easyl, a self-service data integration and collaboration tool that helps sales and marketing organizations pull customer data from the cloud without an assist from IT.

Part of the Progress Pacific platform, Easyl can blend data from a variety of on-premise applications with CRM or marketing automation to give users a single view of customers and make business reporting faster and more accurate, the company claims.

"The number of applications that businesses rely on for their decision-making is exploding,” says John Goodson, chief product officer at Progress. "Whether it's sales data, customer lists, or lead flows, organizations of all sizes have multiple, ever-changing data sources they need to consolidate, analyze, and report on.”

Progress unveiled the new application at the SiriusDecisions Summit this week in Orlando.
