Proflowers Calls on iSky for Customer Care

Internet flower retailer Proflowers Inc. has picked iSky Inc. to handle contact center services in a deal announced yesterday.


The teleservices firm's 45,000-square-foot contact center in Bend, OR, will fulfill the contract. Call agents will help Proflowers customers place orders and inform them of new products.


Proflowers will call on iSky particularly in the upcoming St. Valentine's Day period, when call volumes are expected to rise. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.


Proflowers is a direct-from-the-grower retailer based in San Diego. Laurel, MD-based iSky is a provider of outsourced customer care whose clients include Amazon.com, Sharp, Owens Corning, BMW, Audi and Honda.
