The 4,800 job cuts announced last month by Moore Corp., Toronto, won't affect its direct marketing division, Moore Response Management. The cuts involve the closing of six business-forms manufacturing plants and sale of others and are part of restructuring efforts the company expects to reduce costs by $120 million per year by 2001.
Moore has sold its European forms and labels business to Grenadier Holdings of Dublin, but CEO Ed Tyler said the printer is committed to its direct marketing business there.
